All profits from sales of Vigil will go to the Windows of Hope Family Relief Fund. From their website at www.WindowsOfHope.org: Windows of Hope Family Relief Fund is a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization which was formed to provide aid, future scholarships and funds to the families of the victims of the World Trade Center tragedy who were lost on September 11th and who worked in the food, beverage and hospitality professions throughout the entire complex. We have to date identified over 100 families with some 80 plus dependant children, in our ongoing effort to identify eligible families. In late November, each family received an initial distribution of $10,000. Windows of Hope will also pay health insurance (COBRA) for each family for 5 years to ensure all families of continuous health coverage. Future distributions will be made after individual needs are assessed by the Community Service Society of New York (CSS). The NY Times Neediest Fund generously donated the CSS caseworkers salaries to Windows of Hope. Windows of Hope would like to thank everyone for their support and participation. To date your incredible generosity has raised over $15 million. We are most grateful for your continued support. Morgan Chase & Co. and Berdon LLP. It is our intention to minimize administration costs. Currently administrative costs for the Fund are running at an annualized rate of less than 1% of funds raised.
